Sean Vann

CHARLES CITY, Iowa - Sean Vann, 16, of Charles City, died Sunday, July 1, 2007, at Mountain View, Ark., as the result of an automobile accident.

Graveside services for Sean Vann will be held 2 p.m. Friday at Riverside Cemetery in Charles City. Pastor Kenneth Kent of the Marble Rock United Methodist Church will officiate.

Friends may call at the Hauser Funeral Home in Charles City from noon until service time on Friday.

Sean Michael Vann was born September 11, 1990, in Libertyville, Ill., the son of John and Lori (Lockie) Tibbitts. He was a junior at the Charles City High School. His interests included hunting, 4 wheeling and mastering his play station. Sean will be remembered as a „people person‰ who enjoyed being with others no matter what their age. He looked forward to going to Calico Rock, Ark. every summer to spend time with his father and grandparents. Sean was a member of the Marble Rock United Methodist Church.

Living family members include his father, John Vann of Calico Rock, Ark.; his mother and step-father, Lori and Merle Tibbitts of Charles City; two sisters, Tiffany Lenz of Mundelein, Ill., and Danielle (Josh) Albrecht of Nashua; maternal grandparents; Gene and Reva Lockie of Calico Rock, Ark.; four aunts, Terry Lockie of Nebraska, Janis Lockie of Washington, Nancy Valadares of Nashua and Donna Hader of Illinois; four nephews, Logan and Jordan Lenz and Brock and Bryce Albrecht; and a host of other relatives and many good friends.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, John and Marlene Vann.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Marble Rock United Methodist Church Youth Program, 208 Iowa Street, Marble Rock, IA 50653.
