Ryan Stephen Shoars
FRIDLEY, MINNESOTA - Ryan Stephen Shoars, age 22 of Fridley, MN formerly of Nashua died June 17, 2007 at Mercy Medical Center, Coon Rapids, MN.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 21, 2007 at St. John Lutheran Church in Nashua with Pastor Thomas Hagen officiating. Ann Senner will be the organist with Johnna Hirt and Bill Shoars as vocalist. They will sing “A Mighty Fortress”, “Father Welcomes” and How Great Thou Art”.
Interment will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Nashua, with Nate Hof, Matthew Myhre, Dustin Harrington, Keaton Matthews, Jeff Brymer and Clint Matthews serving as casket bearers.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Hugeback & Chenoweth Funeral home in Nashua and one hour prior to services at the church on Thursday. Memorials may be directed to the family.
Ryan Stephen Shoars was born August 18, 1984, in New Hampton, the son of Robert Adams and Renae Matthews. He was adopted by David Shoars following his marriage to Renae. He attended Nashua Elementary and Nashua-Plainfield High School graduating in 2003. Ryan moved to Fridley, Minnesota, where he worked as a landscaping contractor for Blue Green Irrigation of Fridley.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with family and friends. Ryan loved being a new father. He was an avid fan of comedies, music and loved to make people laugh.
He is survived by his mother, Renae Shoars of Waverly; one son, Royce Shoars of Fridley, MN; his father, Robert (Lisa) Adams of Fredericksburg; step-father, David Shoars of Burnsville, MN; three sisters, RaeAnn, DaVail and Holly Shoars all of Waverly; paternal grandparents, Steve Adams of New Hampton and Patricia VanAuken of Ionia and special great aunt and uncle, Jim and Marjorie Reed of Albert Lea, MN.
Ryan was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Don & Dorothy Matthews; his paternal grandmother, Edna Adams and a cousin, James Matthews
